Mark your calendars for Nov 9-11 at Van Patten Woods.
These woods offer trails for hikes and bikes, there's a canoe and kayak launch, and also fishing at Sterling Lake (Walleye, bass, channel cat, northern pike, panfish, muskie). Horseback riding is also allowed.

Unfortunately, rocket launching is not allowed at the special use area, but for those who have an AMA license you can fly your model airplane (need a permit).
